Katie and Gaven’s engagement session was a few weeks ago on a gorgeous September evening. Katie grew up and St. Michaels which happens to be one of my favorite little spots so I was pretty excited for this session! We spent the evening wandering around the Chesapeake Maritime Museum finding little hidden spots and such gorgeous light! Katie knew of a little secret beach down the road so we hopped in the car and zipped down before sunset. The beach was so serene and peaceful- and lot more seaweed we bargained for but still some of my favorite images! Congrats Katie and Gaven- I can’t wait for your wedding this May!

A few weeks ago I met up with Kara & Matt at Patapsco Valley State Park for their engagement session. It was a gorgeous cool September day. We had fun exploring the park and finding little spots of beauty. These two are just smitten with each other and their love for each other just shines throughout these images. I can’t wait to photograph their Baltimore wedding next year! Thanks again Kara & Matt for the wonderful time!

Courthouse weddings are slowly becoming a favorite of mine! There is no huge rush or pressure or thinking of a million things that could go possibly go wrong. Christina called me a few weeks before her wedding date. She was planning on having a low key wedding at the Annapolis Courthouse with just close family and friends. That Friday I headed out- the skies were gray with rain threatening. We met up around State Circle to start with a few portraits and the clouds magically disappeared for a few hours. Christina & Akeem were joined with their beautiful children and the day couldn’t have gone any better. Thanks so much again Christina & Akeem for allowing me to capture your beautiful day! Congrats!

Clear skies and cool breezes on a spectcualar summer day. A stunning day turned out for Jesse and Dan’s beautiful wedding on the Eastern Shore! Jesse and Dan were married this past July at Running Fox Farm in Chestertown, Maryland. This has to be one of my new favorite venues! I am absolutely in love with Jesse’s style- her dress, the colors oh and those bridesmaids dresses! So incredibly unique and elegant! Occasions Catering provided the delicious dinner and guests danced the night away under the moon. Thanks so much again Jesse & Dan for allowing me to capture your amazing day! Congrats!!

Kate & Jordan’s wedding was held on the 4th of July at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, Maryland.  Earlier that week Hurricane Arthur was making its way up the coast. It was a incredibly nerve racking week checking the weather constantly! Thankfully, it did miss us but the wind….the crazy wind did not! Luckily Kate & Jordan still braved out their ceremony outside and luckily no one was blown away!  They also braved the wind for portraits outside. Seriously, this group was the most fun loving I have ever photographed! I love how everything was so Maryland with a little bit of 4th of July thrown in. Crabs everywhere and I loved their boardwalk candy table! Kate & Jordan are fanatics about lacrosse so it was only appropriate that their ring bearer Owen walked down the aisle with a lacrosse stick. Also, Kate’s garter had a lacrosse pin!

Thank you so much Kate & Jordan for allowing me to capture your amazing day (and for braving the wind)! Congrats!:)
