Jodi & Gilbert~ Married! {Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center Wedding}

This past August I had the wonderful opportunity to second shot with Rachel Smith Photography! Jodi and Gilbert’s wedding was held at the beautiful Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center in Grasonville, MD. It turned out to be a beautiful breezy August day- the weather could not have been any nicer! I started off photographing the boys getting ready and then off to capture the most perfect first look moment! I loved this fun bunch- the sunglasses, photo booth props, amazing details and awesome dancing made for a night of laughter and fun. These are some of my most favorite images of the day!

Maureen & Tim~ Brittland Estates Wedding {Chestertown MD Photographer}

Maureen and Tim’s wedding took place this past November at the beautiful Brittland Estates. The ceremony took place at Scared Heart Catholic Church while the reception took place at Brittland Estates under one of the most beautiful tents I have ever seen! The girls started off the morning getting ready at Brittland Manor while the boys were right down the hill at the River Lodge. Maureen and her bridesmaids were so incredibly relaxed and laid back the morning went so smoothly. We then headed down the road to one of the most charming little church. I absolutely love how their guest threw the fall leaves at them as they exited the church. We then headed out to get some beautiful portraits among Brittland grounds. It was actually freezing and the wind was blowing like crazy but this super fun group did not complain one bit. I don’t even think you can tell how cold in was in the photos!! The reception was absolutely amazing to the yummy gluten free dinner, cake and pies to the amazing decorations. I love how everything was so “Eastern Shore”. The Adrian Duke band rocked the dance floor all night long. Congrats again Maureen & Tim! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your beautiful day!
I love how Tim got up on stage and sang Rock Me Mama!

Nancy & Jacob ~ Engaged! {Old Town Alexandria Engagement Photographer}

A few weeks ago I met up with Nancy and Jacob in Old Town Alexandria. I can’t say it enough I love this place- with all the neat buildings walls and houses every time we turned a corner there was another scenic surprise. It was freezing cold- I mean f.r.e.e.z.i.n.g cold! Jacob was super smart and had grabbed some coffee before we started and luckily I remembered I had hand warmers in my bag. Somehow we survived! I think we are all looking forward to their warmer wedding this upcoming September!:)Thanks again Nancy & Jacob for the fun time- can’t wait for your wedding this fall!Annapolis Wedding PhotographerWe found this cute little furry friend along the way- he just loved following us around!:)

Christi & Will ~ Married! {Havre de Grace Wedding Photographer}

Christi and Will’s gorgeous wedding took place this past fall in beautiful Havre de Grace Maryland. The day started off with the girls getting ready at Christi’s parents house. Christi and Will choose to do a first look and this was definitely a favorite of mine! Christi’s dad pulled up an old historic car in their front yard just for the photos- what an awesome Dad! Then we were off to the Steppingstone Museum and started on some super fun portraits. Believe it or not it was actually in the 80′s and we were all pretty hot and sweaty! But this awesome wedding party stuck it out and I never heard a compliant once! I was humbled for the love that Christi and Will have for one another- especially the sweet moment during the ceremony when Christi wiped away Will’s tears. Thank you so much again Christi and Will for sharing your amazing day with me! Congrats and hope you are having a blast starting your wonderful new life together! Eastern Shore Wedding PhotographerThis was a super fun crowd to work with!:)Kent Island Wedding PhotographerLove how Christi had her name and wedding date embroidered inside of her wedding dress!
