Michelle & Andrew were married on a beautiful August day at Brittland Manor in Chestertown, Maryland. One of my favorite venues all around! The day was amazing with cool breezes, sunshine and family and friends surrounding these two in a heart felt ceremony by the water. Michelle & Andrew are so full of life and they kept me smiling all day long. I absolutely loved this fun bridal party and loved how much they were into fun photos! The Bachelor Boys Band kept the dance floor packed all night along! Thank you so much again Michelle & Andrew for sharing your beautiful day with me- congrats!

Goodness the busy fall season is here and I still have so many beautiful late summer sessions to blog! First, I met up with Danni & Matt in late August for their engagement session. They brought along their adorable dog Daisy and a few cute props. I think Daisy stole the show in a few of their images but I don’t think Danni & Matt minded one bit- she is so stinkin cute! Thank you so much Danni & Matt for surviving the super hot weather with me and exploring all the beautiful hidden spots in Ellicott City! I can’t wait for your wedding this June!

Every once in a while I have a wedding that just takes my breath away…Sarah & Jimmy’s beautiful wedding was definitely one of those! I am not sure if it was when I walked in the door and Sarah & Jimmy’s family welcomed me so warmly or maybe their emotional first look and all of the amazing moments that began to unfold throughout the day. I also absolutely loved their love story- the fact that these two went to the same school, had the same jobs but never met each other. Many years later they were to meet when Sarah had taken Jimmy’s old position at work. An introduction, a few emails later and then finally a first date- the rest is history!

The day was an absolute gorgeous one at Matapeake Beach and Clubhouse and I am pretty sure I kept having to pinch myself to focus because it was all so amazing. A heartfelt ceremony, delicious food and a packed dance floor. I am so glad we sneaked out of the reception for a few sunset portraits on the beach. Sarah and Jimmy thank you so much for sharing your beautiful day with me- I am so glad you both found each other- congrats and best wishes!!

Another amazing summer wedding for the books! Katie & Scott were married this past July in Historic Downtown Annapolis. Such a beautiful day started off at the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront and then for a heartfelt ceremony at Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church. I love how Katie & Scott are high school sweethearts- you can tell these two were meant to be! After some portraits around downtown Annapolis Katie & Scott whisked off in a sweet boat around Ego Alley and made a grand entrance to their reception! I absolutely loved all the details and soft summer colors. Event Pro Live kept the dance floor packed all night long. Instead of a traditional sparkler send off I love that Katie & Scott chose a send off of a bike carriage ride around Annapolis- such a unique idea! Thank you again Katie & Scott for sharing your amazing day with me! Congrats!!

Oh my goodness- not sure where to start- I have been dying to blog this wedding! It is definitely one for the books! Nicole and Sean’s beautiful wedding took place on the 3rd of July. Not quite the 4th of July like they wanted to plan but I love how they incorporated so many independence day details in their wedding! High school sweethearts that went on to college together and eventually moved to city- Nicole and Sean’s wedding took place back at the Eastern Shore where all of their family gathered and celebrated all day long. The Silver Swan Bayside is such a beautiful venue! Red pants, Jack Rogers and shotgun shell boutonnieres- so many details to love! During the reception we happen to look outside and saw a few neighbors next to the venue setting off fireworks. I am so glad we were able to get outside for a quick shot! A big thank you to my second shooter CarolAnn for assisting me with the amazing fireworks shot! Thank you so much again Nicole & Sean for allowing me to capture your beautiful day!
